Shri Shri Anantha Kumara Swamiji came all the from Varanasi and started school in the of Abhinava Bharathi Vidya Kendra, in Mandya almost 50 years ago. Now under Abhinava Bharathi Shikshana Trust, 5 institutions with LKG to Xth, 2 PU Colleges and a Pharmacy College with B Pharm & D Pharm course is going on. Swamiji was a keen observer of his students, So he chose a gem, alumini in the name Shivamurthy Keelara, to be a support to him. So, Swamiji brought him all the way from US and made him the General Secretary of Abhinava Bharathi Shikshana Trust in 2016. Shri. Shivamurthy Keelara was the president of AKKA, USA. In his term he donated Mammography bus to KIDWAI,Bengaluru, to detect breast cancer among rural women and treat them. AKKA also joined hands in developing a school in Madikeri when it was affected by severe floods in 2019. After Swamiji’s demise he put forth his step in Swamiji’s path by making developments in all branches. He also gave importance to women empowerment, so he supported small scale industries like wood processed oil unit, camphor manufacturing unit, agarbathi & food materials packing unit, garments etc. Now in the verge to serve the nation he is setting up (ANANTHA PRE ARMY ACADEMY) to motivate and train youths who is willing to join the army.
Sri Venkateshwara Charitable Trust
Shri Shri Anantha Kumara Swamiji started Sri Venkateshwara Dhyana Kendra to inspire people that to be healthy Yoga & Meditation is important. To go in this path, as he was well versed in Yoga so he conducted daily yoga& meditation classes . As he was a devotee of Lord Venkateshwara every Saturday he used to conduct satsanga at Govinda Hall in ABVK, HPS, Mandya. Here many events used to take place under his supervision like every year in the name Aadhyatmika Vichara Darshana on January 1st, on Ugadi, on Guru Poornima etc. Every poornima Satyanarayana Pooja was performed. Daily free yoga classes were also conducted. Due to Covid & Swamiji’s ill health & his sudden demise on 08/09/2020 all this had to be stopped. After Swamiji’s demise as per his wish to continue Yoga & Meditation & Satsang, the then General Secretary of Sri Venkateshwara Charitable Trust, Sri Shivamurthy Keelara, planned to build ‘ANANTHA DHYANA MANDIR’ in his memory. Construction of Dhyana Mandir was completed & was inaugurated jointly by his Holiness Sri Sri Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji of Suttur Srikshetra & Sri Vinay Guruji Founder Mahathma Gandhi Seva Trust on 27/09/2021 with other dignitaries (Sri Chaluvaraya Swamy, Sri GO Madhusudan, Sri Maritibbegowda, Sri H S Manju and Sri R. Girish) at Abhinava Bharathi PU College, Shankar Nagar, Mandya. Here also everyday Yoga & Meditation is done, every Saturday Satsang takes place.
Sri Venkateshwara Charitable Trust is a Non Governmental, Organization working for the empowerment of the basic needs of the needy related to different channels of the society. Being formed the trust aims to provide education for provide all the required support in terms of guidance and counselling to become independent and lead a life with dignity.
